New strategic marketing efforts provided opportunities to reinforce Duke Medicine’s brand vision expressing “Duke Medicine in Your Community”. During the ACC tournament, Duke Medicine sponsored a “center court” viewing area for the tournament. Anchored by two three-sided pylons Duke Medicine in your community reminds the community that whether you are a world-class athlete or a world-class grandparent you ask a lot of your body every day highlighting its Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Health & Wellness programs, and Heart Center.

The marketing strategy was to increase brand awareness, and patient care volume in Duke’s specialty areas.

Southpoint Mall

The in-house branding and communications team developed a range of banners, posters, and event communication kits for Duke departmental managers and real estate teams to display at various locations across the Triangle. These kits, approved by management, utilized standardized sizes to streamline the design and delivery process for maximum efficiency.

Kidzone

Duke Medicine has continued sponsoring the KidZone at Southpoint Mall to support this brand messaging. Duke Medicine created artwork for the KidZone play area, which encompasses informational and directional signage, informative posters highlighting Duke Children’s and Pediatric specialties, a map of Duke Medicine facilities, and the award-winning Dukehealth.org patient website.
