Duke LifePoint Branding
Duke LifePoint Healthcare was created from a new joint venture between Duke University Health System, a leading academic health systems, and LifePoint Hospitals, a hospital system with more than 50 hospital campuses across the United States. Sharing an interest in collaborating with hospitals, physicians and patients to bring quality, innovative healthcare services to communities, Duke LifePoint Healthcare was created. This partnership combined Duke’s unparalleled expertise in clinical excellence and quality care with LifePoint’s extensive resources, knowledge, and experience operating community hospitals.
Working closely with the Vice President of Network Services at Duke University Health System we developed a systematic approach to visually represent the relationship between LifePoint Hospitals and Duke Medicine. I created a brand architecture establishing brand uses for partner brand signatures, ownership endorsements and statements, and affiliations. I created a usage document to guide branded treatments such as advertisement, business communications, signage and apparel.
